Dear Stakeholders,

The Board of Directors announces the retirement of Ms Eve Christine Gadzikwa as Chief Executive Officer, effective 31 July 2026.
The Board expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Ms Gadzikwa for her dedicated service and outstanding leadership during her four-year tenure as Chief Executive Officer.

During this period, she made sterling contributions towards advancing the strategic objectives of SADCAS, strengthening the organisation's regional and international standing, and promoting confidence in accreditation across the SADC region.

The Board is also pleased to advise that Mrs Pinkie Malebe, currently serving as Technical Manager, has been appointed as Acting Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 August 2026 following Ms Gadzikwa's retirement. Mrs Malebe has served in SADCAS management for more than ten years; she brings expertise in accreditation and conformity assessment at both regional and international levels.

We extend our warm congratulations to Mrs Malebe and wish her every success as she assumes this important role and best wishes to Ms Gadzikwa in her future endeavors!
